Hello! My name is Erika Spriggs, and I am proud to be a first-grade teacher at C.B. Watson Primary School. I have been teaching since 2022 and absolutely love being an educator. I've previously taught second grade and I truly enjoyed supporting my students as they grew academically and socially. I am excited to continue that journey with my amazing first graders this year!

I am a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University and Piedmont University, and I plan to continue my education as I grow professionally and personally in the field of education. I believe that lifelong learning is essential, not only for students, but for educators as well.

Outside of school, I am a proud mom of two wonderful daughters. Spending quality time with them is something I truly cherish, and they inspire me every day to be my best both in and out of the classroom.

My goal as an educator is to create a safe, engaging, and empowering learning environment where every student feels valued, confident, and motivated to reach their full potential. I am passionate about building strong, meaningful relationships with students and families, and I believe that a strong partnership between home and school lays the foundation for lifelong success. I look forward to working together to make this an exceptional and rewarding school year for all.
