Mrs. Dawsey has served the Houston County School District for more than 20 years. Before being named Principal of C. B. Watson Primary School in 2024, she served for several years as the Assistant Principal for Discipline. Throughout her career, she has also served as an Early Intervention Program teacher, a Reading Recovery teacher, an Achievement Specialist, and a classroom teacher for Pre-K and 1st Grade.
Mrs. Dawsey has earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University, a master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.
