Bio
Hello there! My name is Sandy Melvin, and I live in Montezuma, GA. I am married to an amazing man Bob Melvin, and we have 2 beautiful grown daughters, Haley and Morgan Melvin.
I am the Regional Program Director for STEM Atlanta, a Travel Advisor, and a Plant-Based Wellness Consultant. I also work with two non-profit organizations, Flint River Farms School Preservation Society (flintriverfarms.org) and Bikers 4 Bob.
I have been in education for 20 years. I graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Mercer University (3.9 gpa)
I taught PreK and Kindergarten at The Winning Academy for a total of 7 years. I worked at Bonaire Elementary for 12 years and I have made CB Watson my home. I love what I do. I believe great teachers inspire and guide rather than just deliver content. Students thrive in places where they feel respected, included, and safe.
