Hi! My name is Erin Flanders, and I’ve been teaching since 2013. As part of a military family, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in Denver, Colorado and Pensacola, Florida, and I’m now happy to be back home in Houston County teaching 2nd grade.

I love helping students discover that learning can be exciting, meaningful, and something they can do. I believe every child learns best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to take risks — and I strive to create a classroom where curiosity, kindness, and growth are valued every day.

Outside of school, I’m married, have three children, and a dog who keeps us all on our toes. I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling with my family, and (most of all) good coffee. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together!
