Mrs. Pace holds a bachelor's degree in middle grades education from Georgia College and State University. She obtained a masters degree in integrated studies in education from Cambridge College. Later, she received an add-on certification in instructional technology/media also from GC&SU..

She has been an educator since 1999. She taught at Jasper County Middle School and at Wilkinson County Middle School before coming to Houston County in 2003. She was an ELA teacher at both Warner Robins Middle and Thomson Middle. She became the Linwood Elementary School media specialist in January of 2008. She has been the CBWPS Media Specialist since the school opened in 2013. She says, "I am very happy to be working here at C.B. Watson Primary. I want to inspire a love of reading at an early age."

She has two daughters, two cats, two dogs, and a husband. She has been married to Mr. Pace since 2005. In 2022, Mrs. Pace started a book club for moms in Houston County. In 2024, Mrs. Pace has published two cookbooks. She loves traveling, camping, shopping, relaxing, painting, crafting, cooking, and, of course, READING and listening to audiobooks!
