Alicia Conner

Ms.  Alicia  Conner

Alicia Conner began her teaching career in 1997 with the Houston County School System at David A. Perdue Elementary as a second grade teacher. At Perdue Elementary, Ms. Conner was named the 2002-2003 Teacher of the Year. In 2003, she helped establish Lake Joy Elementary where she taught Kindergarten. Ms. Conner was selected as the Assistant Principal of Instruction for Linwood Elementary in 2006. In 2013, she helped open C.B. Watson Primary as the Assistant Principal of Instruction. Ms. Conner was named the 2014 Georgia National Distinguished Assistant Principal and Georgia Distinguished Assistant Principal by the Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals.

Ms. Conner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University, a Master of Education from Georgia College and State University, and an Elementary Education Specialist from Troy University. Ms. Conner received her Educational Leadership Endorsement from Mercer University.

Ms. Conner resides in Bonaire and is a native of Dooly County. When not at school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her interests include reading, traveling, going to the movies, and attending University of Georgia football games. Ms. Conner attends Harvest Church.
